Our Story
DesiTool was born out of frustration. When searching for a simple SIP calculator in 2024, we found tools built for US dollars with no understanding of Indian financial products. GST calculators that didn't know the difference between CGST and SGST. Resume builders that listed "Social Security Number" as a required field. It was clear that Indian users deserved better.
So we built DesiTool — a platform where every single tool is designed from the ground up for Indian needs. Our SIP calculator knows about ELSS tax benefits under Section 80C. Our EMI calculator uses the reducing balance method as mandated by RBI. Our GST calculator correctly splits tax into CGST and SGST. And our resume builder understands Indian professional norms.
